The Spacetime Railgun Dilemma
1. "Seed-Ship" Deployment
The first step in opening a route (e.g., to Alpha Centauri) is launching a massive automated "Seed-Ship". Using conventional fusion or ion propulsion, this factory-ship travels for decades to the target Lagrange point. 2. The Metric Bungee
